You move your works to Khroma at your own pace. Your site gets a khroma.art address from the start, and you can connect your own domain name, like johnbeckley.com. You buy the domain from the provider of your choice: Khroma doesn’t sell domains.
No. It gives you a starting point. You can review, edit or ignore every suggestion before publishing. You always have the final say.
On sales from your own site, Khroma takes 1% of the artwork price. If you join the Khroma gallery, an option available by application, a 30% commission applies only to the sales it brings you: these are buyers who didn’t know you, and you only pay if the sale happens. For comparison, a gallery often takes around 50%. Payment fees apply, and no sale means no commission.
From your dashboard, you apply to join. We review your work to keep a high-quality catalog. If you’re accepted, your works are shown there too. Your site stays yours either way.
No. The Khroma subscription is €39 per month excluding VAT; applicable VAT is added. The full amount is clearly shown before you confirm.
Yes. Your contacts, subscribers, artworks and data stay exportable at any time. There’s no commitment: if you stop, you export everything, and your site is deactivated at the end of the period already paid.
Khroma is opening in waves, so we can properly support every new artist. When you sign up, you’re notified at opening and invited in the first waves.
