The broad vertical and horizontal bands, in gradients of blue, violet, and pink, build a highly structured architecture that spans the entire surface. At the center, John Beckley places a light rectangle that breaks this grid and draws the eye to a freer, calligraphic tracing of dark loops and luminous lines. The deep background, dotted with small light projections, gives a sense of a living night sky against which the colored rectangles seem to slide. The whole oscillates between geometric rigor and fluid movement, several planes overlapping in a vibrant silence.
