At the center, an explosion of white strokes seems to shatter a colored core crossed by straight and curved lines. John Beckley organizes around this focal point a field of forces where the violet and blue areas envelop warmer yellow and green flat areas, as if the color were compressing and then unfolding. The fine regular, graphic curves cross freer projections and rigid black bands, creating a tension between control and overflow. The thickness of the material, the swept traces, and the splashes give the whole a vibrant appearance, frozen in full motion.
