A vivid pink vertical axis crosses the composition and acts as an energetic column around which everything seems to be ordered. John Beckley contrasts sharp areas of black, white and blue with softer, slightly blurred zones, giving the impression of successive planes. The orange and white straight lines run from one edge to the other, break, split in two, in a network of precise trajectories. A small yellow trapezoid, high up, creates a point of intensity that sends the eye back toward the center. The whole retains a very graphic tension, between geometric rigor and a sense of speed.
