Four aligned panels compose a fragmented image where geometric forms seem to streak diagonally. John Beckley arranges large colored triangles and bold black bands, crossed by softer turquoise and white lines that give the eye a continuous movement from one module to the next. The light surfaces reveal finer textures, sometimes punctuated by decorative motifs, which add depth to the vivid flat areas. The whole retains a very lively energy, structured by the dark diagonals that cross each panel. The dominant white nevertheless keeps the work luminous and airy, as if suspended in an open space.
